1. Diaganal lines can communicate motion, horizantal lines can communicate stability and vertical lines can communicate energy.
2. Humans are able to see "implied" lines, for we like to see unity around us.
3. A graphic designer may want to usse more dinamic lines than a fine artist would.
4. Visual rhythm is created through a repitition of lines or images. Musical rhythm is created through meter and tempo.
5. repitition must be present for rhythm to exist.
